This week we had quite the expierence. We went Wednesday night with the family who has a date, and the dad ended up telling us that he didn't wanna get baptized. We left, I was pretty down and we didnt know what to do. So I did what I always do - I fasted. Saturday night we went back, tried to find out what he was thinking all that stuff, and he just decided he wanted to be baptized. He had read very little of the Book of Mormon, and the very little of what he read convinced him. So the 24th we will have a white night. We thought that the mom was a member, but we looked for her info, and couldn't find anything. So we'll have 4 baptisms instead of 3. Not mad at all with that!
Our other family that we are working with is doing everything in their power to get married. They're great! We have a lot going for us right now in the month of November and December, but what worries me is January. We haven't really been finding that well lately, and we need to be constantly finding to complete the goals of the mission, which is 3 baptisms a month for each companionship. We will see how that goes.
So I bought a camera, it is like a little Go Pro thing. I thought it would be dope, but when I saw how the pics came out when I uploaded them, I was a little disappointed. The dude told me I have 3 months to return it if I want, but I'm not sure what I would do if I did that. hahah We will see.
All is well, all is well.
Elder Roper
