Hello from Tarapoto Perú!!!

Hey guys! It has been a crazy, but great week! It has been weird working in the field again hahahahahhaha. Monday we went to Nauta to do a big service project and it was fun. We all got pretty sunburnt as well aahhah but oh well.

Wednesday I spent some time packing my bags and in the afternoon I boarded a flight headed to Tarapoto!! My flight was delayed and I got there an hour later than I should have but oh well.

Thursday we got up and we had a multizone conference. It was honestly such a great experience. The Parker's focused alot on the scripture in Alma 7:11-13 and the fact that the Savior KNOWS how to help us because He suffered so much.

Friday morning we played soccer with the zone and a sister rolled her ankle, so we spent most of the day running to the clinic and buying crutches and a whole bunch of crap. I guess thats just the life of  a zone leader. It should be fun though. One thing that I have enjoyed about being in the "field again" is having dusty shoes. It was something that I missed in the offices. It is fun to get out and work, but my comp is trunkier than I am hahah. I think that he will have a transfer and I will have a different comp kill me hahah. I am excited.

My  area is basically 2 big hills and the people who live between them. I should get back to being pretty skinny soon hopefully hahhaa. I met a lot of the ward members yesterday and I'm excited to work with them!!

Next Sunday, we will go to church with a family group called JuanJui. It will be a 2 hour drive out. It will be the first time that missionaries have arrived there!! Besides trips with the MP and all that good stuff! We're pretty stoked!!

Ever since the conference on Thursday I have been pondering  a lot about the Atonement and just what it is. It doesn't matter what little problem or challenge may be going on in our lives - Alma 7 teaches that the Savior understands it and will do anything to help us. Whether it be having trouble adapting to a new area or assigment or a divorce or addiction or anything. HE WILL HELP. The Savior loves us so much!

In the pics from the roof top.... that is my view every morning hahha. Pretty awesome. I live with 2 peruvians and my comp from Argentina! pretty fun stuff!! I will improve my spanish for sure this last 8 weeks!!

I think thats about it for this week!
