WHAT'S UP
Week 1 in the
books. It has officially been the hardest, longest but fastest week of my life.
I am so happy with my decision to serve a mission. It honestly has been so fun.
We’ve taught 4
lessons in Spanish, and I know how to pray in Spanish so that’s lit. Spanish is fun. Our
lessons are probably meant for like a 4th grader, but gotta start somewhere. Only
sacrament meeting was in Spanish . . . luckily!
Today they took
us on a tour of the city because the temple is closed, and that was way cool
honestly. They took us to the equivalent of the White House and we saw some
other historical sights as well.
I LOVE RICE.
All the other elders are sick of it, but I eat all of it every single
meal.
We eat a lot of
different things, mostly chicken, beef and rice. The fruit and juices here are
among the best I've ever had in my life.
We get about an
hour a day to do whatever from soccer to baseball to ping pong.
The weather is
consistently warm.
The people are
so nice! We have 11
missionaries in my district, we have a sister tri companionship.
My companion is
Elder Oliver from Arizona.
Everyone speaks
English here.
From what I
hear, my mission is straight jungle hahahah I’m excited. I don’t know what else
to say other than 6:30 am to 10:30 pm every day is kicking my trash.
Here are some
pictures for you.
